Vietnam reports 96 new COVID-19 cases on June 13 morning

Vietnam logged 96 new COVID-19 cases, including 95 local infections, in the past 12 hours to 6am on June 13, according to the Health Ministry.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam logged 96 new COVID-19 cases,including 95 local infections, in the past 12 hours to 6am on June 13, accordingto the Health Ministry.

Among the locally-transmitted cases, 34 were in BacNinh, 32 in Bac Giang, 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, two in Lang Son, one in Hanoiand one in Phu Tho. Of them, 73 were detected in quarantine or blockedareas.

The figure raised the national tally to 10,337, including 8,704 localinfections and 1,633 imported ones. The number of cases since the fourth waveof the pandemic began on April 27 was 7,134.

As many as 3,827 patients have been given theall-clear so far, while the death toll was 58. 

Among active patients under treatment at hospitals,433 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 112 twice and 73 thrice.

Twenty-one provinces have gone through 14 dayswithout detecting new cases.

On June 12, additional 7,240 people in 16 provinces and cities were vaccinated againstCOVID-19. As many as 1.45 million vaccine doses have been injected to date. Thenumber of people got full two shots was 54,385./.
