Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam and the US will discussmeasures to promote their comprehensive partnership during the upcoming visitto the US by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hangmade the remark at the ministry’s regular press conference in Hanoi on May 25.

She said during the visit, leaders of the twocountries will seek ways to enhance that partnership, especially in politics,diplomacy, economy-trade, education, war consequences settlement, and regionaland international issues of shared concern, for the sake of peace, stability,cooperation and development in the region and the world.

The official visit to the US by the Governmentleader of Vietnam will last from May 29 to May 31. It will be made at theinvitation of US President Donald Trump.-VNA

Vietnam, Laos strengthen defence cooperation
