On the occasion, the Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister Teodor Malescanu sent congratulatory messages to the new Romanian Honorary Consul in HCM City.

He stressed that the ceremony was held as Vietnam and Romania want to promote bilateral cooperation based on their traditional friendship and mutual interests, along with support of Vietnamese students who studied in Romania.
