The Thailand Trade Exhibition 2012 opened on Apr. 19 at the HanoiFriendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi , attracting a large numberof visitors from the first day.
Nearly 150 stallsat the exhibition are displaying various high-quality Thai products,ranging from food, drink, fruit, commodities, textiles and jewellery toauto and bicycle spare parts and accessories, garments, handicraftproducts and souvenirs.
Anuson Chinvano, Thai Ambassador to Vietnam , spoke highly of the increasing development of the Vietnamese market.
He said the exhibition is not only a chance to promote Thai productsto Vietnamese consumers, but also an opportunity for Thai businessesto seek cooperative deals with Vietnamese firms, aiming to strengthenbilateral trade ties between the two countries.
The exhibition runs until Apr. 22.-VNA
