Well-known lecturers from Vietnam and France analysed the basicprinciples of the former’s education system at a round-table discussionthat was held in Paris on May 14.
The workshop, the first of itskind, was organised by the Association of Vietnamese Scientists andExperts (AVSE) with the aim of establishing channels for the exchange ofeducationalists to work out measures which could help reform thecurricula and teaching methods and improve training quality in Vietnam.
Inaddition to highlighting the country’s achievements and limitations inthe field, participants also spoke in length the development trends andcompared the education system in Vietnam with that of Europeancountries, including France.
They also emphasised the need tofully equip students with occupational knowledge and guide them how toapply what they have known into the reality.-VNA
