Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung presentedFriendship Order, a noble distinction of the Vietnamese State, to ChineseAmbassador to Vietnam Hong Xiaoyong in Hanoi on February 12.

The decoration was made in recognition of the Ambassador’s contributions to thecomprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and Chinaduring his term of office in Vietnam.

Earlier, Hong was awarded the insignia “For Peace and Friendship amongNations”, the most notable reward of the Vietnam Union of FriendshipOrganisations (VUFO), for his contributions to the two countries’ relations. -VNA
