Vietnam’s National Day celebrated abroad

Hanoi (VNA) –
The VietnameseEmbassy in Japan held a ceremony on September 1 to celebrate the 72ndanniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945).

Nearly 400 delegates, including senior officialsfrom the Japanese government and parliament, were brought together at theevent.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Nguyen Quoc Cuongsaid he hoped the sound relations between the two countries will continuegrowing in the coming time for regional and global peace, stability andprosperity.

Secretary of the Liberal Democratic Party ofJapan Nikai Toshihiro affirmed Japan continues providing support for Vietnam.

While celebrating Vietnam’s National Day inBuenos Aires the same day, Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Dang Xuan Dungsaid reiterated Vietnam’s hope to boost friendship and cooperation withArgentina.

He cited two-way trade reached a record of over3 billion USD in 2016, tenfold after nearly one decade. Argentina is the secondbiggest trade partner of Vietnam in the Latin America, while Vietnam is thesecond important market of Argentina in Asia and fourth largest export marketof the South American country in the world.
