Hanoi (VNA)Vietravel, one of the leading tour operators in Vietnam, has examined and updated information about its tours to Europe as well as tourist safety in Belgium, after the country suffered a series of terrorist bomb attacks on March 22.

Twenty-six travellers are on Vietravel’s tour to European countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. As scheduled, they will arrive in Belgium on March 26.

Vietravel is working with its partners and local tour guides to re-arrange schedules and seek measures to ensure safety for the travellers while revising information for customers and its staff.

In addition, the company will provide changes for confirmed journeys as requested by its customers.

More than 480 people have bought Vietravel’s tours to Europe from the end of March to the end of April. Last year, the company offered tours to Europe to nearly 6,600 customers, rising 65-70 percent against 2014.

The company expects to serve 10,000 people on these tours this year.-VNA
