President Truong Tan Sang has asked the northern province of Vinh Phuc to focus on developing support industry as it plays an important role in attracting investors, especially those from overseas.
President Truong Tan Sang has asked the northern province of VinhPhuc to focus on developing support industry as it plays an importantrole in attracting investors, especially those from overseas.

The State leader made the request at a meeting with the provincial key leaders during his visit to the locality on April 12.

Healso emphasised the need for Vinh Phuc and the nation as a whole todevelop automotive manufacturing industry and increase officialdevelopment assistance (ODA) attraction.

He asked the localauthorities and people to make more efforts to successfully implementthe Resolution of the 11 th National Party Congress, turning thecountry into a basically modern industrial nation by 2020.

Thesame day, President Sang attended and delivered a speech at the congressof the provincial association of revolutionary soldiers who weredetained by the enemies during the war.

He also visited severalbusinesses operating in the support industry, including the CosmosTechnology Co. Ltd and Jahwa Vina Co. Ltd based at the Khai QuangIndustrial Park in Vinh Yen city.-VNA

To further strengthen Vietnam-Belgium relations, especially parliamentary cooperation, both sides agreed to enhance delegation exchanges at all levels, particularly between parliamentary committees and friendship groups. They also pledged to share legislative and supervisory experience, coordinate positions in international organisations, support each other’s candidacies for UN bodies, and effectively implement the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).
