The Vietnamese Embassy in Bulgaria recently held an annual meetingwith Bulgarian businesses to promote investment opportunities inVietnam .
The meeting attracted the attention of almost 140 Bulgarianbusinesses interested or intending to conduct investment and business inVietnam .
Speaking at the meeting,Ambassador Tran Van Thinh reported to the delegates on Vietnam ’ssocial and economic situation, and talked about the country’ssocioeconomic development strategies in the period of 2011-2020 as wellas cooperative investment results between Vietnam and Bulgaria .
He affirmed the important role of businesses instrengthening bilateral relations between the two nations in thecontext of the economies gradually recovering from the global financialcrisis.
The embassy’s officials introduced thebusinesses to foreign direct investment (FDI) in Vietnam , thecountry’s investment laws and incentives for foreign partners, as wellas tourism potential and opportunities for cooperation in the sectorbetween Vietnam and Bulgaria in the future.
Representatives from Bulgarian enterprises praised the achievementsof Vietnam , saying that this was the time to promote traditionalfriendship relations by cooperating in trade, education and commerce.
The participants appreciated the purpose andmeaning of the meeting and vowed to work closely with the Embassy tomaintain and further enhance economic cooperation between the twocountries./.
