13.24 million people join social insurance in Vietnam

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s number of social insurance holders reached 13.24million as of April 30, said Deputy Director General of Vietnam Social InsurancePham Luong Son.

About76.2 million health insurance cards were issued in the period, Son added.

Vietnam aims to have 50 percent of the labour forcecovered by social insurance by 2020.-VNA
