- State President Luong Cuong held talks in Hanoi on April 15 with General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping, who is on a state visit to Vietnam.

Cuong noted the special significance of the visit by Xi and the Chinese high-ranking delegation, which coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties (January 18, 1950 - 2025) and the Year of Vietnam – China Humanistic Exchange. Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh led a Vietnamese delegation to bid farewell to General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on April 15 afternoon.

Xi concluded his two-day state visit to Vietnam at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam and State President Luong Cuong. Read full story
- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an official welcome ceremony at the Presidential Palace on April 15 afternoon for Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Ali and his spouse who are on an official visit to Vietnam where he will also attend the 4th Partnership for Green Growth and the Global Goals (P4G) Summit from April 14-17.

This is the first visit to Vietnam by a senior Ethiopian leader since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1976, and also the first high-level delegation exchange between the two countries in seven years. Read full story
- Deputy Minister of Finance Le Tan Can led a Vietnamese Government delegation to pay a working visit to Cuba from April 11 to 14, aiming to further strengthen the traditional solidarity, special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, especially in terms of economics, trade and investment.
During working sessions with representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Trade and Investment, and Finance and Prices, and the Central Bank of Cuba, the Vietnamese delegation expressed delight at the fruitful development of bilateral relations across channels and areas in recent times, affirming that the Party, State and people of Vietnam attach special importance to the special relations with the Latin American nation.
