- Vietnam is increasingly affirming its position as a proactive nation in building trust and advancing peaceful solutions to conflicts, said Pallab Sengupta, President of the World Peace Council.

- Held against a backdrop of profound regional and global volatility, the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam has conveyed important messages on political stability, economic development and balanced foreign policy, according to Claude Blanchemaison, former French Ambassador to the country, in an interview with Vietnam News Agency correspondents in Paris.

Blanchemaison noted that Vietnam has integrated very successfully within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), promoting practical and effective forms of cooperation among member states across a wide range of fields. - Vietnamese para athletes continued their impressive run at the 13th ASEAN Para Games in Thailand on January 22, with swimmer Vo Huynh Anh Khoa and weightlifter Dang Thi Linh Phuong both winning gold medals, further boosting Vietnam’s medal tally.

On the second day of competition, Khoa claimed his second gold medal at this Games by winning the men’s 100m backstroke in the S7–S8 category, setting a new Games record. Vietnam–Canada ties gain fresh momentum after ministerial meeting

Dak Lak must link Central Highlands with south central coast: Party chief

Party chief extends Tet greetings to border guards in Dak Lak province

The Party leader acknowledged and highly valued the strong sense of responsibility and perseverance of the station’s officers and soldiers. Despite being stationed in a border area with many difficulties, they have remained steadfast at their posts, focused on building a regular, green, clean and beautiful unit, promoted production activities, and gradually improved the material and spiritual lives of the troops.

The foreign policy of the 14th Congress represents both continuity and development. It inherits the fundamental objectives, principles and approaches affirmed over previous congresses, namely independence, self-reliance, peace, cooperation, development, multilateralisation and diversification, while introducing new dimensions to meet the country’s Fatherland construction and safeguarding requirements in the new era.
