Arrivals to Vinh Phuc province increasing sharply
The northern province of Vinh Phuc welcomed 2.2 million visitors in the first quarter of 2023, which marks a year-over-year increase of 80%, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

During the period, the average room occupancy rate in the province was 40-45%. Its tourism revenue reached 875 billion VND (37.3 million USD).
The province has been taking measures for tourism promotion including improving social order and security, infrastructure, and human resources.
The province has also promoted its tourism potential, strengths, and typical tourism products, while organising activities to attract visitors including a special ethnic art programme, a tourism promotion exhibition, a food festival and a survey on tourism product development in 2023.
Vinh Phuc is now developing various types of tourism including eco-tourism, cultural-festival-spiritual tourism, community-based tourism, MICE, weekend resort tourism, and rural tourism, helping create jobs and generate incomes for thousands of workers./.
