The Department for People with Special Contribution to the Country underthe Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs has begun theconstruction of a nursing centre in the central region.
The 11-storey building will be built on 9,000sq.m of land in Ngu HanhSon district in Da Nang City at a cost of 236 billion VND (11.2million USD).
The 248-bed centre is scheduled tobegin operation in 2018. It will serve the needs of war invalids, HeroicMothers and other people who have made contributions to the country’srevolutionary cause.
According to the ministry, 30nursing centres reserved for those who have rendered service to thenation have been built throughout the country, but the number offacilities only meet 10 percent of demand.-VNA
