Da Nang airport maintains lead in service quality

The Da Nang international airport continues securing its first position in Vietnam in terms of providing the best service quality.

The Da Nang international airport continues securing its first position in Vietnam in terms of providing the best service quality, according to a survey conducted among 21,000 passengers in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The survey, conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam at Vietnam’s three largest international airports of Noi Bai (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City) and Da Nang (Da Nang city), found that Da Nang airport topped the list, followed by Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Vietnamese airlines conducted over 150,000 flights in the first six months of 2018, a year-on-year rise of 9 percent. They served 35.4 million passengers in the period, up 16.8 percent.

In January-June, Vietnamese airlines conducted more than 150,000 flights, up 19 percent against the same period last year. The number of on-time flights was 129,000, accounting for 86.1 percent.-VNA
