The decision was made at the Secretariat’s meetingin Hanoi on May 14.
After taking into account the proposal made bythe CPV Central Committee’s Inspection Committee on May 6, 2019, theSecretariat found that during his time holding these positions, Canh, who has married, was having an extra-marital affair, shared a son, and was living with a womanother than his wife – conditions which violate laws on marriage and family.
Canh’s behaviour also infringed the CPV CentralCommittee’s regulations stipulating what Party members cannot do as well, asregulations of the Party Secretariat and municipal Da Nang Party Committee on theresponsibility of officials and Party members to set moral examples, especiallykey leaders and heads of agencies at all levels.
His wrongdoings are considered serious, adversely affecting the reputation of Party organisations.
Based on the Politburo’s Regulation No.102-QD/TWdated on December 15, 2017 disciplining violating Party members, theSecretariat decided to dismiss Canh from all of his Party positions.–VNA
