(Photo: VNA) DongNai (VNA) - The Department of Market Management of southern Dong Nai provincesaid that it has coordinated with other units in the province to support theconsumption of 110 tonnes of Bac Giang lychees.
Thiswas a part of the plan to coordinate, support and create favourable conditionsfor the circulation and consumption of agricultural products of localities withlarge output, including Bac Giang lychees, in the context of the complicateddevelopments of the COVID-19 pandemic which affected the consumption of localproducts, according to the department.
Thedepartment has been proactive in collaborating with relevant agencies inproposing solutions for consuming lychees as directed by the government, theMinistry of Industry and Trade and provincial People’s Committee.
Theyare required to remove difficulties relating to the circulation and consumptionof lychees, giving maximum priority to the purchasing, distribution andconsumption of the product.
Favourablecondition will be created for trucks transporting lychees and otheragricultural products of northern Bac Giang province to enter Dong Nai province, itsaid, adding that it must meet the government and provincial COVID-19 pandemicprevention rules.
Themanagement boards of supermarkets, markets and small traders and shops in DongNai province will join hands to support the purchase of seasonal agriculturalproducts, solving difficulties of farmers where the COVID-19 pandemic occurs.They will also coordinate with relevant agencies in creating favourableconditions for vehicles to transport goods into the province.
Agenciesin the province are supporting the selling agricultural products on e-commerceplatforms, encouraging trade centres, supermarkets, markets, shops to increasethe consumption of safe agricultural products in the locality. Priority will begiven to agricultural products with large output./.
