Hanoi (VNA) - An exhibition featuring Vietnam’s cultural and landscape heritage and traditional handicraft products will be held in the northern province of Ninh Binh from December 17-24, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on November 3.

This is an activity within the framework of the Visit Vietnam Year 2021- Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh, jointly organised by the ministry and the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province.

The exhibition is expected to help introduce, promote and honour cultural values, relic sites and landscapes of Vietnam, affirming cultural and tourism development potential among localities, and contributing to creating a driving force to strongly attract resources for tourism development and improving the image of the Vietnamese country and people.

It will also introduce traditional handicraft products, encourage artisans to create more products, promote potential of tourism related to trade villages, and expand the relationship between trade villages, producers and tourists.

The exhibition will feature UNESCO-recognised world heritage sites and items, Biosphere Reserves, and Global Geoparks in Vietnam. It will also introduce outstanding products of many artisans from trade villages such as Phu Dieu pottery (Hai Phong); Dinh Cong silver carving, Ngu Xa bronze casting, Van Phuc silk (Hanoi); Thanh Tien paper flowers (Thua Thien - Hue).

Various activities will be held within the framework of the exhibition./.
