Gas contract signed for Nhon Trach 2 power plant

A contract to supply gas to the Nhon Trach 2 power plant was signed between PetroVietnam subsidiaries in Hanoi on April 6.
A contract to supply gas to the NhonTrach 2 power plant was signed between PetroVietnam subsidiaries inHanoi on April 6.

Under the 25-year contract, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation will supplyPetroVietnam Power Nhon Trach 2 Joint-stock company with over 2.1million cubic metres per day, or 800 million cubic metres of gas peryear.

With the total investment of 706 million USD, the gas-consumedpower plant is an unit of Nhon Trach Power Centre. It is expected tostart generating power in March, 2011./.
