Hanoi will create the best possible conditions for Japanese investors, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao said at a working session with a delegation of Japan ’s Saitama prefecture on August 20.

The chairman said at present, there are 448 Japanese-funded projects with a total capital of 4.5 billion USD in Hanoi.

He suggested that Japanese businesses invest in such fields as high technology, urban transport, parking facilities and agriculture.

Saitama Governor Ueda Kiyoshi said the prefecture is a leading locality in Japan in terms of vegetable and flower cultivation and has a large number of small- and medium-sized enterprises, adding that this would be a favourable condition for the two sides to boost multifaceted cooperation in the future.-VNA
