Jakarta (VNA) – The good relationship between Indonesia and Jordan will open up more cooperation opportunities in various sectors, said Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi.

She made the remark during a meeting with her Jordanian counterpart Nasser Judeh on March 14 in Jordan’s capital of Amman.

At the meeting, Retno offered an idea to diversify trade products and investments.

The two sides agreed on strengthening the Indonesia-Jordan Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) mechanism.

Besides this, they also discussed issues relating to education, tourism, health and interfaith dialogue.

On the occasion, the two ministers signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) on visa exceptions for diplomatic and service passport holders, as well as on training partnerships.-VNA
