Indonesia stops IS plan to attack foreign agencies
The Indonesian police’s counterterrorism team has announced to capture a member of the self-claimed Islamic State (IS) and confiscated explosives in his hide in West Java province.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Indonesian police’s counterterrorism team has announced
to capture a member of the self-claimed Islamic State (IS) and confiscated
explosives in his hide in West Java province.
The police said that the arrestee is Rio Priatna Wibawa, 23. He admitted to receiving
orders to create bombs and attack foreign buildings or agencies, including
embassies and religious institutions.
According to the police, three other IS members, Wibawa’s accomplices, are still on the run.
Security authorities are monitoring actions of more than 50 people who just came back to Indonesia after joining IS in Iraq and Syria.-VNA
