The shopping centre, the largest of its kind in thecentral region, is a seven-storey building worth 45 million USD withtotal floor space of over 7,000 square metres, located in Phan Thietcity.
It serves as a modern complex sellinghigh-grade products including jewellery, fashion and food products. Ofthe 35,000 items for sale, more than 90 percent are Vietnamese highquality products.
Lotte Mart will also house an entertainment area, cinema, supermarkets and restaurants.
It is expected to greatly change the retail market in Binh Thuanprovince and neighbouring areas, as well as become a new tourism spotfor visitors.
The General Director of Lotte MartVietnam , Hong Won-sik said the Phan Thiet store is the group’s biggestretail centre in the Central region, generating jobs for around 600local residents.
Lotte Mart is the first foreignretailer to open a commercial centre in Binh Thuan. The project is partof the retailer’s strategy to expand nationwide.
Similar projects have been put into service in Ho Chi Minh City, thecentral Da Nang city, and southern Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces.-VNA
