The second International Martial Arts Festival will be held on August 7-8 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

The event is expected to draw 400 Vietnamese athletes and 600 foreign athletes, who will come in 74 delegations from 27 countries and territories.

"It is a good chance for Vietnam's martial arts community to exchange its martial arts quintessence with other communities from around the world," said Nguyen Manh Hung, director of the Hong Bang University International.

The event will include performances and introductions of the martial arts styles of each delegation. A beauty contest for female participants will also be held.

The first festival was held in HCM City in 2008. It attracted more than 500 athletes from 15 countries./.
