- The eighth border defence friendship exchange betweenVietnam and China is scheduled to take place in Vietnam’s northern province ofLao Cai and its neighbouring Chinese province of Yunnan on September 7 - 8.

The Vietnamese delegation will be led by Phan VanGiang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commissionand Minister of National Defense. - Vietnam earned 3.45 billion USD from exporting vegetablesand fruits in the first eight months of 2023, up 57.5% year-on-year, accordingto the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
