- Party General Secretary To Lam and a delegation of central officials offered flowers and incense at the national special historical relic site of Dong Loc T-junction, the central province of Ha Tinh, on December 29 in memory of heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national liberation.

- Vietnam's footwear and leather industry is poised to achieve 26-27 billion USD in export in 2024, marking a 3 billion-USD increase from the previous year, as they country has well capitalised on the signed free trade agreements to bolster shipment, according to the Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association (Lefaso).
Legaso Vice Chairwoman and General Secretary Phan Thi Thanh Xuan highlighted Vietnam’s global standing as the world’s third largest footwear producer, trailing China and India, and the second biggest exporter.
