- President Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with outstanding representatives of ethnicminority groups from the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang in Hanoi onSeptember 21.

- Venture investors are eyeing Vietnam as the latestdestination for their capital, according to an article posted onasianinvestor.net on September 20.

The nearly-4.6-million-CAD (3.4 million USD) project isexpected to assist more than 2,600 ethnic minority women and men in sixcommunes in Ha Giang’s Quang Binh district and three communes in Lai Chau’s TamDuong district over a course of four years. Read full story

- The Thao & Van Hoa (Sports and Culture) Newspaper ofthe Vietnam News Agency (VNA) announced ten nominations for the 15th “Bui XuanPhai: For Love of Hanoi” Awards on September 21.

​The working trip reaffirmed Vietnam's foreign policy of proactive and active integration into the world, and multilateralisation and diversification of external relations. The frequency of high-level visits does not tell the whole story, but at the very least it reflects clear trust at the highest leadership level, which can then spread to government agencies and other stakeholders in both countries.
