The northern province of Ninh Binh is working around the clock to prepare for the grand opening ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2021 and Hoa Lu Festival on April 20, which is expected to attract thousands of people.
The grand opening ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2021 and Hoa Lu Festival 2021, themed “Hoa Lu - thousand-year Ancient Capital”, took place in the northern province of Ninh Binh on April 20.

Archaeological excavation and research at the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and other sites in the northern province of Ninh Binh were reviewed at a workshop held by the provincial Department of Culture and Sports, the Institute of Archaeology, and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences on April 20.
Some 90km south of Hanoi, Ninh Binh province boasts many famous destinations, including Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO-recognised heritage site; Tam Coc, nicknamed “Ha Long Bay on Land”; Cuc Phuong National Park; and Van Long Wetlands Nature Reserve.
Agritourism is capturing more and more attention from rural labourers in the northern province of Ninh Binh, not only helping create stable sources of income but also contributing to preserving the distinctive local traditional culture.
