Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong arrived at Vnocovo-2 Airport inMoscow on November 23, beginning his official visit to Russia atthe invitation of President Vladimir Putin.
At the airport, he was welcomed by Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Morgulov.
The Party leader and his entourage then paid floral tribute to latePresident Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Square in Moscow .
He also visited the Hanoi-Moscow Culture and Trade Centre (INCENTRA),which is a symbol of the fine friendship and cooperation between thetwo capital cities and the two countries.
Launched in November last year, the 240-million-USD centre is expectedto act as a bridge for trade and cultural exchanges between the twosides.
Talking to the Vietnamese Embassy’s staffand Vietnamese people there, the Party leader said that his visit aimsto boost the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership in a deeperand broader manner, thus contributing to peace, stability, cooperationand development in the region and the world.-VNA
