December 8 to retain Vice President Leni Robredo until her term ends.
Duterte made the statement several days after Robredo resigned from the cabinet, complaining of a “plot to steal” her position.
Speaking to reporters after a ground-breaking ceremony for an airport in central Bicol, Duterte affirmed that Robredo will maintain her position till the end of her term and said that there is no such thing as removing a vice president.
Robredo is a legislator of Naga city in Bicol region.-VNA
