On display at the Russia - My History museum are the most outstanding photos of Vietnam’s history, country and its people as well as the friendship between Vietnam and Russia over past years.

After his 17-year journey for national salvation, President Ho Chi Minh arrived in Bangkok in July 1928 and began efforts to promote patriotism among the Vietnamese community. He then moved to Ban Dong in Phichit, . In December 2013, local authorities began construction of the President Ho Chi Minh relic site and museum in Ban Dong.
Despite being born in foreign countries and having never met Ho Chi Minh, overseas Vietnamese in Laos and Thailand always pay special respect to Uncle Ho. After his death many overseas Vietnamese families in Laos set up altars of Uncle Ho although this is not a Lao custom of making altars in home.
A special programme entitled Ho Chi Minh - Sang Ngoi Y Chi Viet Nam (Ho Chi Minh – Viet Nam Will Shine Bright) was broadcasted live at five locations, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Nghe An and Dong Thap on May 18.
