Pop star Ho Ngoc Ha is set for her first world tour next month.

HCM City (VNA) -  Pop star Ho NgocHa is set for her first world tour named Love Songs next month.

Love Songs will feature 14 shows in the US,Australia, Germany, France, and the Netherlands.     

She will perform 20 songs for 90 minutes at eachshow along with talented musicians.

At her first show in Houston, the US, Ha, whobegan her career by singing pop and dance music but has turned recently toR&B, will perform jazz, blues and R&B music.

The evening’s highlights will include romanticsongs from her latest albums, Destiny and What Is Love?, which came out late lastyear and quickly became top hits.

"My crew and I have worked hard the wholeyear to provide my fans with something new," the 33-year-old says.

“It will be great when I sing for overseasVietnamese.”  

In the US, she will then perform in San Diego,San Jose, Denver, Dallas and Atlanta.

She has invited several young singers like NooPhuoc Thinh, Ngo Kien Huy, Giang Hong Ngoc, and Bui Anh Tuan to perform alongwith her.

Ha began her singing career in 2004 afterearlier working as a model, overcoming many challenges to become arguably themost famous young singer in the country. 

Her first album, 24 Gio 7 Ngay (24 Hours 7Days), helped her establish herself.

In 2009 her top hit Xin Hay Thu Tha (MyApologies), a song featuring pop and rap music, became a phenomenon thoughcritics gave the music mixed reviews.

She was chosen for the Asia Song Festival inSeoul the same year.

Her first live performance, called Ho Ngoc Ha Live Concert 2011, used high-tech equipment to dazzle an audience of more than3,000 at the Lan Anh Entertainment Club in HCM City.

Ha has won several prestigious prizes like theYear’s Best Singer, Best Album and Best Concert from HCM City Television, Voiceof HCM City and The Thao & Van Hoa (Sport& Culture) newspaper. She hasperformed in several TV shows and films. 

For her first world tour, Love Songs, Ha hasworked hard on her voice and performance skills. Her costumes will be designedby young talent Ly Quy Khanh. 

After the US, Ha will visit Australia in Augustand Europe later.-VNA
