Quang Tri aims to establish itself as central region’s growth pole

All Party members in Quang Tri should raise the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, dynamism and creativity, working together with unity to make Quang Tri a new growth pole in the central region, said new Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Quang Ngoc.

Quang Tri (VNA) – The central province of Quang Tri is determined to establish itself as a new growth pole in the central region in the next five years, according to the resolution of the first provincial Party Congress that concluded on October 5.

To this end, major tasks and breakthrough measures were outlined in the resolution, which also affirmed the province’s commitment to building a clean, strong Party and political system, leveraging the strength from great national solidarity and development aspirations, effectively mobilising and using resources, and promoting innovation.

At the congress, the Politburo’s decisions to assign members of the provincial Party Committee and its Standing Board, as well as the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of the Quang Tri Party Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure were announced.

Accordingly, Le Ngoc Quang was appointed Secretary of the provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure.

In his speech at the closing session, Quang called for thorough dissemination and study of the congress’ resolution among the public, and urgent action plans to bring it into life. He urged all Party members to fully promote a sense of responsibility, cultivate moral qualities and lifestyles, focus their intellect and leadership capabilities, combine words with actions, strengthen solidarity, and encourage the people to continue to uphold the traditions of the heroic homeland of Quang Tri.
