The Hanoi Railway Corporation will reduce fares by up to 15 percent onNorth-South train this summer to attract more travellers to long-rangetrain travel.
Accordingly, trains departing fromnorthern stations, such as Hanoi and Dong Le, for southern destinations,including Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City, will see tickets pricesreduced by 2 percent to 15 percent.
The discounted fares went into effect on May 22 and will continue until September 5.
Additionally, Vietnam Railway Corporation announced a 10 percentdiscount promotion for all students participating in the upcoming highgraduation examination, along with accompanying family members.
With each exam invitation notice, students will be able to purchase discounted return tickets.-VNA
