Hanoi (VNA) – Chairman of the National AssemblyVuong Dinh Hue visited Nhan Dan (People), the official newspaper of theCommunist Party of Vietnam, on the occasion of the 96th anniversaryof the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day on June 21.

Welcoming Hue on behalf of the newspaper’s editors,reporters and staff, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh said Nhan Dan has wellperformed its information and communication functions as directed by the Partyand State.

The newspaper has particularly fulfilled its tasks incovering the 13th National Party Congress and the elections ofdeputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’sCouncil for the 2021 – 2026 term earlier this year, he said.

NA Chairman Hue, for his part, hailed Nhan Dan as one of theleading newspapers in Vietnam. During its 70-year history, Nhan Dan, as the voiceof the Party, State and Vietnamese people, have done great work in affirmingand popularising the Party’s major policies and points of views on Vietnam’srevolution, socialism and the path to socialism, he said.

On the same day, the NA leader also visited andcongratulated several other media agencies, such as Dai Bieu Nhan Dan (People’sRepresentatives) newspaper and Quoc Hoi (National Assembly) Television, on theoccasion./.
