Tuyen Quang (VNA) – The Tuyen Quang provincial Party Committee held its first meeting on October 10, during which it approved a draft action programme to implement the resolution of the first Congress of the provincial Party Organisation for the 2025–2030 tenure, outlining key objectives, tasks, and groundbreaking solutions aimed at fostering the province's rapid and sustainable development in the new period.

The action programme focuses on eight major areas: maximising potential and resources to spur economic growth; improving the quality of cultural and social development; preserving and promoting cultural values linked to tourism; and building a dynamic, well-rounded population that meets the requirements of sustainable progress.

Other priorities include advancing science, technology, and innovation; accelerating digital transformation; ensuring effective natural resource management and environmental protection; strengthening climate resilience; safeguarding national defence and security; enhancing external relations; consolidating effective, transparent local administrations; improving judicial work; renewing the operations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organisations to bolster national unity; and building a clean, strong Party with enhanced leadership capacity.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh underscored the significance of the approved action programme, saying it serves as a concrete foundation for implementing the Resolution of the provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure. He called on Party committees at all levels to uphold unity across the political system and demonstrate the highest determination to achieve the congress’s targets and indicators.

Looking ahead, the official urged Party committees at all levels to thoroughly study and rigorously implement resolutions, directives, and guidelines of the Party Central Committee, Politburo, Secretariat, National Assembly, and Government, as well as instructions from relevant ministries and agencies. He emphasised the importance of translating the provincial Party Congress's Resolution into concrete actions, enhancing coordination in carrying out socio-economic tasks, and and achieving the highest level of the set targets.

He also called for proactive disaster response, improved healthcare services, and job creation for local workers. Tourism development must go hand in hand with cultural preservation and sustainable exploitation to support socio-economic growth, Lenh

Lenh stressed the need for a bold renewal of the Party’s leadership methods, improved leadership capacity and combat strength within Party organisations, and streamlined administrative procedures. He reiterated that personnel work remains the “key of all keys” to strengthening organisational capacity and meeting the requirements of the new revolutionary phase. He also directed continued efforts to safeguard national sovereignty, border security, and social order while ensuring the well-being of residents./.
