Vietjet resumes flights linking Hanoi, HCM City and Con Dao

Vietject now operates one round-trip flight per day on Hanoi-Con Dao and Ho Chi Minh City-Con Dao routes.

Hanoi (VNA) - The new-age carrier Vietjet on December 3 resumed services connecting Vietnam’s two major cities - Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with the Con Dao Special Zone.

The airline now operates one round-trip flight per day on each route. The HCM City–Con Dao flight departs at 11:00 and arrives at 11:40, while the return leg leaves Con Dao at 09:20 and lands in HCM City at 10:05.

On the Hanoi–Con Dao route, the flight departs Hanoi at 06:45 and arrives in Con Dao at 08:55. The return flight leaves Con Dao at 12:05 and lands in Hanoi at 14:20.

From December 15, flight frequencies on both routes will increase to two round trips per day.

Con Dao, formerly in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province (now HCM City), is regarded as an ideal destination for nature lovers seeking tranquillity. In addition to its pristine forests, clear waters and relaxed pace of life, the island is home to many historical sites that offer visitors deeper insight into a significant period of the nation’s past.

K’Ho ethnic minority group in Lam Dong province looks forward to Election Day

Lac Duong commune is a remote locality largely inhabited by the K’Ho ethnic minority in Lam Dong. The inspection revealed that passenger P.T.H. had concealed 10 pieces of the metal, weighing about 5 kg, inside her bra and underwear. Passenger V.T.M. hid five pieces totalking roughly 1.1 kg beneath underwear.
