A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) attended the 21st international symposium asking the question “Which Global Economic System will Ensure Stability and Development in the World?” which took place in Tunis, Tunisia, on Nov. 2-3.

The symposium, held by Tunisia’s ruling party, the Democratic Constitutional Rally (RCD), attracted over 200 delegates from political parties and international organisations as well as politicians from 60 countries.

Participants discussed issues relating to the global financial crisis, rationales and measures for controlling future crises, as well as ways to build a global economic system that ensures international stability and equality of opportunities among nations, and a more humanitarian and sustainable global economic system.

While in Tunisia , the Vietnamese delegation, led by Deputy Head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Training Phung Huu Phu, had a working session with RCD General Secretary Mohamed Ghariani on how to boost relations between the RCD and the Communist Party of Vietnam and between the two countries, in general./.
