Two more positive cases of A/H1N1 flu were confirmed on June 18, bringing the total cases of the super flu virus in Vietnam to 29, according to the Health Ministry’s Department of Preventive Health and Environment.

The two newly detected H1N1 carriers are a 62-year-old Canadian nun who has been isolated and is currently under treatment in Ho Chi Minh City ’s Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and a 25-year-old woman who has just returned from the USA and is hospitalised in Nha Trang General Hospital .

Of the infected cases, 19 patients, including 18 in Ho Chi Minh City and one in Hanoi , have already recovered and have been discharged from hospital.

To date, no deaths have been reported.

As of June 17, 76 countries and territories around the world have reported 35,928 cases of A/H1N1 flu, 163 of them have fatal./.
