Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Public Administration and Justice Tibor Navracsics’s visit to Vietnam from November 14 – 16 aimed at boosting judicial cooperation and foster traditional ties between the two countries.

At a press briefing in Hanoi on November 15, Vietnamese Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong and Navracsics said the two sides shared experience in legislation and law enforcement as well as reached a consensus on an agenda for amending the judicial cooperation agreement in civil, family and criminal fields signed in 1985.

The two ministers signed a judicial and legal cooperation agreement between the two ministries, under which they will share experience in perfecting the activities of judicial agencies and the State management in a bid to protect the legitimate rights of the two peoples during the global integration.

They also agreed to perfect civil and penal laws, share experience in monitoring law enforcement and apply information technology in the management of administrative agencies.-VNA
