HCM City (VNA) – The Vietnam International Bakery Show 2025 (VIBS 2025) opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City on December 10, featuring nearly 200 booths from 120 exhibitors representing 12 countries and territories.
More than a product showcase, VIBS 2025 serves as a key trade promotion platform for the bakery industry in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The international pavilion features standout bakery products from eight economies represented by the International Federation of Chinese Bakery & Confectionary Associations, along with information on 12 major global bakery exhibitions.
Vietnamese companies regard VIBS 2025 as a “golden” opportunity to access cutting-edge technologies and diversify imported ingredients, while foreign businesses can expand networking, foster partnerships and strengthen long-term development strategies in the regional bakery sector.
According to Kao Sieu Luc, Chairman of Vietnam National Bakery Association (VNBA) and CEO of ABC Bakery, the exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of the industry - from automated production machinery and high-quality raw materials to packaging technology, finished products and supply-chain management solutions. This enables manufacturers, suppliers, equipment producers, chefs and baking enthusiasts to explore future business opportunities.
Yi-Wen Chen, President of the Taiwan (China) Bakery Association, highlighted the strong growth of Vietnam’s bakery industry in recent years, driven by continuous technological upgrades, product innovation and rising market demand. She said enterprises from Taiwan and Vietnam can leverage VIBS 2025 to exchange expertise, inspire creativity, improve professional skills, develop new products and expand market reach, contributing to promoting Asia’s dynamic bakery culture globally.
Running until December 13, VIBS 2025 also features professional baking competitions, specialised seminars and other activities designed to foster creativity and improve human-resource quality in the industry. Through these events, businesses and visitors can update market trends, new production technologies and effective business strategies, contributing to developing Vietnamese bakery and confectionery products with strong cultural identity and the potential to become distinctive international gifts./.
