Reference exchange rate kept unchanged on December 10

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,155 VND/USD on December 10, unchanged from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,413 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,897 VND/USD.

At 8:12, the buying and selling rates at major commercial banks saw mixed fluctuations.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,172 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,412 VND/USD, unchanged from the December 9 morning session.

BIDV kept its buying rate at 26,172 VND/USD while raised its selling rate by 12 VND to 26,412 VND/USD./.

Vietnam, RoK strengthen cooperation on trade remedies

HCM City projects strong 8% growth for 2025

Vietnam’s semiconductor surge underscores mounting demand for skilled engineers

Current estimates show around 7,000 engineers working in IC design, another 7,000–8,000 in packaging, testing, materials and semiconductor equipment, and about 10,000 technicians across packaging, testing and materials manufacturing.
