Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai lauded contributions by Japanese businesses in Vietnam at a reception in Hanoi on October 25 for Hideo Okubo, Chairman and CEO of the Foval Corporation.

Hai expressed his thanks to the Japanese guest, who is also Chairman of the Supporting Committee for Globalisation of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises under the Japanese Business Association, for what he has done to supporting and bringing the country’s businesses to Vietnam.

He emphasised that Vietnam has implemented incentives to attract investment and create the most favourable conditions for foreign businesses, including those from Japan , to boost their operations in the country.

Hideo Okubo said that Japan mainly invests in industrial zones in northern Hai Phong city and southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and wants to expand its investment to other cities and provinces. Therefore, the country’s businesses need supports in recruitment and personnel training.-VNA
