Held by the VJA under the guidance of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information, Education, and Mass Mobilisation, with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the festival featured nearly 130 booths from over 80 central and local press agencies, showcasing a century of journalistic achievements.

This year’s festival stood out for its embrace of multimedia journalism and cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality, and augmented reality. These innovations reflect the media’s drive to keep pace with global trends and connect with modern audiences, Loi said.

By early 2026, Quang Ninh had established a transparent fisheries data ecosystem. All 4,116 fishing vessels of six metres or longer operating in the province have been registered and fully updated on the national system VNfishbase. Notably, information of all local vessel owners has been verified and synchronised with the national VNeID system, enabling faster and more accurate traceability and identification of fishermen.
