A Vietnamese state leader and the visiting Polish Parliament Deputy Speaker agreed on the need to forge a stronger linkage in trade and investment in the coming time.

At their meeting in Hanoi on December 18, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan and Deputy Speaker Jerzy Wenderlich noted that both sides’ enterprises should be assisted to explore respective business opportunities to increase bilateral trade value, which has seen a gradual rise over the past years.

Vice President Doan stated Vietnam always treasures its sound traditional relationship and multifaceted cooperation with Poland, stressing that Vietnam considers Poland a priority partner in the Central part of Eastern Europe.

For his part, Wenderlich expressed his pleasure at the development of bilateral diplomatic ties and multi-faceted connection over the past time.

He noted that the over 40,000 Vietnamese expatriates in Poland have made remarkable contributions to the two sides’ national development.-VNA
