The event will be co-organised by the French Institute in Vietnam and Kerman Company under the theme “The Roots”, heard a press conference in HCM City on March 26.

Other art forms such as short films, artist talks and workshops on contemporary dance will be held as the part of the festival.

Through the lens of performing arts and ordinary activities in artistic form, this year's shows will bring the concept of origin and growth to life.

French Consul General to Ho Chi Minh City Vincent Floreani said he hopes through the festival, visitors will experience different arts and cultures.
