Hanoi (VNA)- Tran Tuan Minh of Vietnam won the 14th IGB Dato Arthur Tan InternationalOpen Chess Championship 2017, which closed in Malaysia on September 4.

GrandmasterMinh pocketed seven points after nine matches. He won five and drew four.

Thevictory brought him 11.1 Elo points, contributing to his world ranking.

China’s Fang Yuxiang camesecond with the same points, but he had a lower parameter.

He was followed by hiscountryman Ma Qun.
