Vinh Long gardeners busy preparing flowers for Tet

As the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2025 is less than a month away, gardeners in Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long are now working hard to prepare flowers to meet market demand. They hope to have a bountiful harvest to celebrate a prosperous Tet.

This year, households in Nhut hamlet, Ngai Tu commune, Tam Binh district, plan to provide around 150,000 seedlings of different types for local flower growers.

In recent years, local farmers have expanded their cultivation with Tet flowers being added to traditional crops. It aims to boost income and meet demand for the holiday.

In the last days of the year, gardeners are now working hard to ensure a high-quality flower harvest. Weather seems rather favorable so far, and with stable input costs, they are optimistic that this Tet will bring better yields and higher prices compared to previous years.

As the Lunar New Year is nearing, many local gardeners have begun receiving orders from traders. They wish the weather continues to be favorable, so as they can harvest the best possible flowers, adding vibrant colors to local families during the biggest festival./.
