The northern province of Ninh Binh is expecting a sustainable
boost in tourism following the recognition of Trang An Tourism Complex
in the province as a world cultural and natural heritage site by UNESCO
in June this year.
Relevant authorities, businesses in northern Ninh Binh province have
gathered in a recent workshop to seek ways to enhance the management and
protection of the environment and cultural values in developing
tourism.
A ceremony to celebrate the Trang An tourism Complex as a world cultural
and natural Heritage site will be held on January 22-24, said Tran Huu
Binh, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of northern Ninh Binh
province.
